Happy Birthday Ashley!

Well, it finally happened. My little sister, Ashley, turned 21 last week. Jul and I may have been slightly more excited about this then she was=). We had planned a fun filled night with dinner at Barrio and drinks at the famous "It's Brothers". Come on, Brothers is a total must on your 21st birthday! I think Jul and I wanted to take her there only because we had missed out going there on our 21st's.

Who every said winter photo shoots weren't any fun?!

I had a little idea pop into my head today after Jul called me at noon and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a walk, out side. I mean maybe around the Mall, but not out side. I thought she was crazy. With enough convincing that the temp outside was not horrible I agreed and proposed a little photo shoot for the walk.

Jul rocked the boots with the fur and mittens with the ice cream cones. Only a Minnesotian would say 20 degree days aren't so bad after all :).

Sneak Peek - The Sprague-Brenteson Family

What do you get when you have 2 5 year olds, one 2 year old, 2 chocolate labs, a Saint Bernard, 2 parents and a hot tub? Well, you get a photoshoot with the Sprague-Brenteson family!

Over the weekend Facebook told me that Steph got a cat. WHAT?! Steph got a cat?

This was confirmed Sunday night when Steph told me she indeed, did adopt a tabby tiger striped cat named Willis. I inquired if Willis would want to do a photo shoot and he surly did.

Juliana and I went over to Steph's posh Uptown apartment last night and let me tell you this little guy is fast, likes to eat fuzz and has a fierce MEOW!

Sneak Peek - The Andreasen Family

Sunday afternoon we had another shoot, this time with the Andreasen family. Ashley assisted me with this shoot at Otsego Park. First of all, if there were any days this fall to book 2 shoots in the same day this was the day. It was so beautiful outside! Second, the Andreasen's need to give out tips to all my future adult family clients (including my own!). They showed up, took care of business and were able to enjoy the rest of the day at the park. You guys were a lot of fun! I hope you enjoy your holidays and weddings to come:)

Sneak Peek - The Anderson Family

Early this morning I headed over to the Anderson's house to take their family portraits. I was excited when Anne called me and asked me to come over this year because we had loads of fun last year at their session. This morning the boys had a ton of energy. I'll tell ya, these boys really kept me on my toes! We were all over their yard and even riding 4-wheelers. I don't know how you do it Scott and Anne:) I hope you guys have a great Christmas!

Happy Halloween to everyone! Doctor Vee likes to dress up every year. Last year she was a witch, the year before dracula. Well, this year has probably been her least favorite costume yet, a pig. She really didn't enjoy her photo shoot too much either, but alas she managed to pull out a cute pic without looking too crabby.
