Hannah+Joe - St. Paul, MN Wedding Photographer

Hannah and Joe had a very small wedding ceremony on New Years Eve Day. Before the ceremony I met up with Hannah and her sister where they got hair and make-up done at Tease Salon in St. Paul. When they were all glammed up we met up with Joe and headed to Downtown St. Paul for a photoshoot pre wedding.

Now, I won't lie... it was pretty darn chilly out! Hannah and Joe were great in the cold weather though. We even headed inside to the Landmark Center and Hill Library to get out of the cold. Hannah had told me before hand that she didn't want the photos to look too "lovey dovey". The Library was absolutely the perfect setting for that!

Congrats Hannah and Joe! I had an awesome time shooting and hanging out with you guys!

Sarah+Lucas' Wedding - Minnesota Wedding Photographer

Sarah and Lucas got married on a beautiful, well for end of November, day at the Little Mountain Chapel in Monticello, MN. Sarah has been a good friend of my sister Ashley's for as long as I can remember and Lucas and I went to High School together and know what it's like to have a little too much fun:).

Before every wedding I get a little excited and anxious about how the day will go and to be 100% honest Sarah and Lucas' day was pretty much near perfect. The bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, Lucas' daughter and Sarah's new step daughter was as cute as could be and their families were wonderful.

The reception was held at Carousel Works in Big Lake, MN. The personal attendants and some of the bridesmaids were nice enough to gift some additional shoot time at the reception so we could capture some dancin' up moments and I'm soooo glad they did!

Sarah+Brandon Engaged! - Twin Cities Wedding Photographer

Yey! I'm so excited for Sarah and Brandon and their wedding coming up next summer! Ok, ok so my excitement might have something to do with the fact that Brandon is my cousin and Sarah is a super awesome girl:). We had beautiful weather this weekend so we made our way over to the Schulze farm to do their engagement session and had a blast.

Contrats guys! I can't wait for the wedding next June!

Justin and Dana's Engagement Session

If I time traveled back oh... lets say 8 years and you ask me if I thought I'd be shooting Justin Marsh from Liquid Sun's wedding in the year 2009, the answer would have been "no" =). Justin and I go way back to the days of rock shows and baggy wind pants. This is the guy who made me sick on my 21st b-day. The guy that'll sing you songs from when you were a teenager (including a selection of Subnormal, Soma 220 and his own claim to fame, Liquid Sun) and the guy who totally makes Dana happy. Congrats guys! I know the wedding in September will be a blast!

Sneak Peek - Save the date & wedding invites

I've been wanting to come out with a Wedding Invite card pack for awhile so this weekend, the spring weather kicked me in to gear. Here's a peek of what I've been working on.

Moses-Mills Wedding

I have to admit, I was thrilled when Stephanie asked me to shoot her wedding. Steph has been a friend of my sister since she was a preschooler at Patchworks Preschool. When my grandpa heard we'd be shooting her wedding he asked, "Gosh, how old is she now?" To which I had to replay, "The same age as Juliana. I heard she's asking for a pony for a wedding gift". It's an inside joke, I hope you get that, Stephanie :).

After a week of rain the wedding day was beautiful. I could have not asked for a better more agreeable and easy going bride, groom and wedding party to work with.
