Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm a photographer based out of the Twin Cities. I love photographing storybook portraits of families, children and weddings. A Frosty Minnesota Morning - MN Photographer

Saturday morning I awoke to an oddly frosty morning. See, I would expect this if i had been awake at maybe 6am, but this was around 10am and it was oddly warm out (ok 12degrees ABOVE 0). I have no idea what got in to me since I do not like winter one little bit. I grabbed my camera and headed out for a little walk around my neighborhood which was simply stunning.

Baking Cookies @ the Ferguson House - Minneapolis Photographer

Baking and Christmas cookies just make me feel at ease during the hustle of the holiday season. I think I might even enjoy it more when more skillful people are doing the baking. So, here we have a chef and an artist making cookies. Somehow there still ends up to be an "ameba" and a "barf" cookie but hey, that's what happens when two silly friends make cookies together :)

Happy Birthday Juliana!

On April 25th my little sister and (loving sometimes) roommate Jul turned 23. I have to say I probably got her the best birthday presents in the history of all birthday presents received. Target dollar bin stuff, a princess fishing game, a tiki sign for when ever we get a house and some other misc. "stuff". She loved it. Jul <3's stuff more then any other human that has ever lived. Happy birthday Jul!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Well, it finally happened. My little sister, Ashley, turned 21 last week. Jul and I may have been slightly more excited about this then she was=). We had planned a fun filled night with dinner at Barrio and drinks at the famous "It's Brothers". Come on, Brothers is a total must on your 21st birthday! I think Jul and I wanted to take her there only because we had missed out going there on our 21st's.

Before we headed out a Birthday photo shoot was in order!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween to everyone! Doctor Vee likes to dress up every year. Last year she was a witch, the year before dracula. Well, this year has probably been her least favorite costume yet, a pig. She really didn't enjoy her photo shoot too much either, but alas she managed to pull out a cute pic without looking too crabby.

Pre RNC in St. Paul

The Republican National Convention comes to St. Paul next week. Weather you're a Democrat, Republican or Independent you have to realize how big and important this is for our town. Anyway, I ventured down to St. Paul this afternoon. Tents are being set up, streets are being blocked off. It was pretty calm but I can imagine that will change sometime very soon.

Big Ships in Duluth

Juliana and I decided to drive to Duluth a few weekends ago, just for the day. The Big Ships Fest brought in more people then Grandma's Marathon, so to say the least it was BUSY. We waited in line about 2 hours just to be on one ship, but it was well worth the wait.

I thought this would be pretty interesting...
Jul, just being Jul.
