June... If you only lasted all summer.

This week has been one of those weeks that you wait for all year.

Wednesday after work Jul and I headed uptown for some pizza and ice cream. My camera was in hand. I got in a little more play time with the Lens baby and the 5D. Oh, how I love my growing camera set up:)

Moses-Mills Wedding

I have to admit, I was thrilled when Stephanie asked me to shoot her wedding. Steph has been a friend of my sister since she was a preschooler at Patchworks Preschool. When my grandpa heard we'd be shooting her wedding he asked, "Gosh, how old is she now?" To which I had to replay, "The same age as Juliana. I heard she's asking for a pony for a wedding gift". It's an inside joke, I hope you get that, Stephanie :).

After a week of rain the wedding day was beautiful. I could have not asked for a better more agreeable and easy going bride, groom and wedding party to work with.

A few of my favorite models

Several weeks ago I got some new equipment. An Aliens Bees strobe flash, in hot pink of course. This light rocks! I used it for the prom and another photo shoot today and I couldn't be more happy with it.

I was lucky enough to have my two favorite models sit in for a session so I could test the new equipment.

Prom 2008

What could be more fun then a bunch of 80's prom goers? ... A bunch of 80's prom goers in 2008! Thanks to Patti I had the opportunity to shoot this awesome even last weekend. I have to saw everybody was extremely fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the dance to "Come on Eileen". :)

It's a... Lens Baby!

Last weekend I finally got a LensBaby. This is a toy that has been on my list for awhile. Needless to say I need to get some more practice in!
