When Brenda contacted me about doing a family picture this year she mentioned "the guys would all like to hold their deer mounts and we'll be wearing camo". Hmm... I thought, Ok! Sunday happened to be the perfect day for a photo shoot as well! I met Lori and her family at her beautiful home in Elk River. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with on a beautiful fall day!

Perhaps the location and the people look a little familiar? Well, that's because both are! My Aunt, Eileen, had let me know that she wanted to get her family together soon to a photo session but didn't know when everyone would be available at the same time. So, when I she realized I was in the neighborhood for Brandon and Sarah's engagement session everything just seemed to fall in place. I have to agree with her that it couldn't have been planned any better!

Yey! I'm so excited for Sarah and Brandon and their wedding coming up next summer! Ok, ok so my excitement might have something to do with the fact that Brandon is my cousin and Sarah is a super awesome girl:). We had beautiful weather this weekend so we made our way over to the Schulze farm to do their engagement session and had a blast.

Contrats guys! I can't wait for the wedding next June!

Baby Kai - Twin Cities Childrens Photographer

Kai is just 3 months old and one of the strongest babies I've ever met! His mom, Melissa, told me that they chose his name from a list they had because it seem to fit him the best and that Kai means "strong". I don't think they're could have been a better match! Kai's photoshoot was super fun and he had a ton of expressions to share:)
